“Solaris Bonhooghly” is one of its kind affordable housing projects of Eden Realty Group in North Kolkata.  Strategically located on Lakeview Park Road, Bonhooghly, Kolkata close to Noapara Metro Station and Airport, Solaris Bonhooghly will have 276 units of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom flats in two G+12 towers. The total investment for the project is around Rs 40 crores. Installation of 100 kW roof top grid-tied solar panels will be a way forward towards green living for the residents as it will save huge carbon foot prints. It will also help in reducing common electricity bills as it will generate about Rs10 lacs worth of free solar electricity every year. This will in turn help reducing the maintenance charges to about 50 % of the existing industry norms and expected to bring it down below 1 per sq.ft. per month. “Solaris Bonhooghly is not only a home but it will also offer an enviable lifestyle to make everyone’s living an experience. We have made the best use of light, space, aspect and energy and have blended it with all the modern amenities. We have also used roof top solar panel to reduce the burden of maintenance cost for all our prospective buyers and also help in creating a cleaner atmosphere for our future generations to breathe in. We want to focus on the affordable housing segment by providing best of lifestyle facilities at affordable rates. We would be coming up with more such projects in Kolkata and other parts of West Bengal to cater to the rising demand of this segment. We aim at building about 10,000 such affordable homes in next few years” said Mr. SachchidanandRai, Chairman, Eden Realty Group.  The project will have 11,000 sq.ft. of Roof top community space, activity centre with gymnasium, games room, adda zone, swimming pool facility, children’s play area and a senior citizen’s corner. The 4 sides / 3 sides open flats will ensure abundant light and air in all cross ventilated rooms. The in-wall hanging wardrobe space in every bedroom will give the residents the luxury of using the floor space more efficiently. Ramps will be available in specific areas for easy access for those with special needs. The project will also have a stretcher lift to cater to the emergency requirements.
