Norms to regulate real estate sector soon
Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said his government would soon come up with a set of rules for proper implementation of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act-2016 to protect the interests of homebuyers and boost investment in the sector. Khattar, who chaired the monthly meeting of the district grievance redress committee, also promised to set up a real estate regulatory authority to execute the Act, but did not set any deadline. On November 1, the Union government had notified the rules for the implementation of the Act to bring in transparency in the sector.
