Noida to issue flat-wise OCs to speed up registries
Registry of flats in delayed projects will become easier after the Noida Authority on Friday decided to issue flat-wise occupancy certificates, relaxing its earlier rule of issuing these documents tower-wise. The decision was taken at the 197th board meeting of the Authority, amid concerns of the state losing revenue because of a huge number of pending registries. What this means is that even if a developer has completed, say, 10 flats in a tower which has a total of 100 apartments, OCs can be issued for these 10, allowing owners to apply for registries.
