NCDRC initiates criminal proceedings against Three C Builders

The National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission on Wednesday initiated criminal proceedings against Three C Builders, Three C Universal Developers and its three directors namely VidurBharadwaj, Nirmal Singh and Supreet Sing Suri. The court referred the case against Granite Gate Properties, a subsidiary Three C Universal Developers and party to the case, to a larger bench since an insolvency case is already in progress against the company. The order relates to a case filed by Lotus Panache Welfare Association who claimed that the builder has failed the deliver the Lotus Panache project situated in in Sector 110, Noida and has not paid compensation for the delay. The project was launched in 2010 and comprised of 30 towers having 4,000 apartments. It was supposed to be delivered by 2012 but only 1000 apartments have been delivered till date.
