NAR- India to host realty convention

National Association of Realtors-India (NAR-INDIA) is ready to present the 8th annual convention which is scheduled on 13th and 14th August, 2016 at New Delhi. Through this convention NAR- India wants to change the image of realtors from unprofessional brokers to professional realtors. Also, NAR- India aims at becoming the most credible voice of realtors in India. Talking to Realty Plus, Ravi Varma, Chairman, NAR- India said, “India has several thousands of realtors or brokers operating in over 35 metropolitan cities. They represent interests of large corporations on the one side and domestic consumers on the other. With the increasing number of members in NAR-India, NAR-India is working towards shifting the paradigm of unorganized realty market to organized and professional real estate sector.” “Since its inception, the convention has acted as a platform to gather all the experts, leaders, realtors, builders, architects, lawyers and other stake-holders of the real estate industry under one roof. The core aim of the NAR- India is to elevate the standards of practice of the real estate brokerage business to a global level where ethics, transparency, accountability, rule of law and good governance prevail,” adds Samir (Sam) Chopra, President Elect, NAR- India. The main theme for this year's convention is going to be on 'Today Towards Tomorrow' putting forward the futuristic vision of NAR-India and expanding real estate market. Going ahead, the convention will focus on discussions around ongoing debates in real estate market development and sustainability of smart cities, both in India and abroad. NAR- India would also be revealing their agenda for year 2017 with o?cial ceremony of announcing Sam Chopra as the new president of year 2016-2017.
