Mysuru Urban Dev Authority to Get Okay for Group Housing Project in Nov
Seven months after proposing the multi-level group housing scheme, (Muda) continues to keep hopes in their first high rise structure project. If things go according to plans, Muda will construct high rise structures at three places, two in west Mysuru and one in east Mysuru. The urban development body has reserved ?100 crores for its ambitious project. The total cost of the project is estimated at ?372 crores After Muda failed to get a large chunk of land for the development of new layouts, it came up with this project years ago. Muda has vacant land in the IV stage, Gokulam, and Sathgalli where it has proposed to build 2-bhk and 1-bhk multi-level houses for the homeless. According to the plan, Muda is aiming to build over 1,100 multi-level houses in these places. It has proposed to construct 14 floors including the ground floor at each location. Houses in Gokulam and Vijayanagar will be built in 635 and 660 sq ft areas and it will have two bedrooms while in Sathgalli it will be built on 335 sq ft area with one bedroom. A survey conducted to check the response from the public before the project was conceived revealed that people are interested in the high-rise structure. Around 42,000 people have expressed interest in buying the group houses online while over 7,000 have given applications. Rajeev says Muda has fixed the price for a single bedroom house at ?15.5 lakh, 665 sq ft area houses at ?33.5 lakh and 635 sq ft houses at ?29.5 lakh
