Ludhiana recommends FIR against 10 builders in one week
Taking action against illegal constructions, Ludhiana civic officials have recommended an FIR against 10 builders in the past one week, and also demolished three housing colonies. Action has been taken against colonies developed after 19 March, because according to the policy for regularization of illegal colonies, colonies being developed after this date without permission should be dismantled immediately. On Friday, MC teams dismantled an illegal colony in Tikona village on Sua Road. The colony was being constructed in 1.25 acres. Work was in the initial stage, and work related to sewerage lines, roads, and street lights was already done in the colony. While checking, officials got information about this colony, and they razed a structure under construction in the colony.
