Using the Bhuseva, an integrated platform for land-related services, a unique identification number (Bhudhaar) will be given to every land parcel on the lines of Aadhaar cards for citizens. Once its implementation in the state crosses 80 per cent, Bhudhaar will be made mandatory for all land and property transactions in a phased manner.
The Bhuseva service is being developed by Microsoft and a survey to find the best practices in the world is being organised by Wipro. At a high-level review meeting held here on Friday, officials of the Andhra Pradesh government informed chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu that a pilot project was launched in 22 villages of Jaggiahpet mandal in Krishna district and it will be completed by December 31.
It includes registration of 2.84 crore agricultural parcels, 0.5 crore urban properties and 0.85 crore rural properties.
