Knight Frank India today has launched the fifth edition of its flagship half yearly report on India Real Estate. The report presents a comprehensive analysis of the residential market performance of Kolkata for the period between January-June 2016 (H1 2016). As per the report, in the first six months of 2016 end-users home sales in Kolkata had dipped by 10 per cent although price had firmed up two per cent. Rajarhat witnessed the largest share of new launches and sales in H1 2016, primarily due to the presence of the office sector and the on-going infrastructure projects. It accounted for majority of the affordable and mid-end projects launched in H1 2016.
