Real estate developer K Raheja Corp has received a Gold rating for their residential offering Raheja Vistas’s Building No.39 at Chandivali in Mumbai. Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) which is a part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has awarded the Company a total of 48 points under the IGBC Green Homes Rating Programme, the developer said in a statement. The report is determined by the following categories that include site selection and planning, water efficiency, energy efficiency, materials, indoor environmental quality, and innovation and design process as defined by IGBC, it said. K Raheja Corp signed a memorandum of understanding with the CII-Green Building Council to construct green buildings, back in 2007. Since then the Company is committed to eco-friendly constructions in both commercial and residential spaces resulting in developing large green expanses across the country like Mindspace, Hyderabad; Mindspace, Airoli; Vivarea, Mumbai; among others. Mr. Shabbir Kanchwala, Senior Vice President, K Raheja Corp, said “Green projects form the foundation of a clean environment and encourage healthy spaces.
