IT raids on two real estate firms
The income tax department carried out raids at three different firms in the city on Wednesday. They raided premises of two real estate firms and a consumer product company in the city. The raids began in the morning under the police security. Sources said that I-T officials raided 40 different places of these firms including the company premises, factories and residence. The raids are being conducted to find out unaccounted income and properties. The raid may continue over next two days and the I-T officials are expected to question the firms' owners as well.
