Hyderabad Biggest Land Deal of 600 Acres in Over Rs 350 Cr
Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company Hetero Group bought about 600 acres of land for more than Rs 350 from a US fund, in one of the city's biggest land deals in recent times. The deal includes the pharmaceutical company buying all shares in the two landholding subsidiaries of the US fund. Agreement has been done and the land is located in front of Shamshabad Airport, priced at Rs 6 lakh per acre. He also consolidated land in the same neighborhood. The property is part of the US fund's pre-Lehman investment in Indian real estate. Hetero has been very active in buying land in Hyderabad. In 2017 he bought 20 acres of land from Puravankara Corporation for Rs 475 crore in the Raidurg IT belt. Hetero has a joint development partnership with RMZ Corp and K Raheja Group to develop commercial properties in Hyderabad, totaling 20 acres of land.
