Haryana Govt To Construct War Memorial In Ambala City
A grand memorial is being constructed in n Ambala City to perpetuate the memory of the fighters who sacrificed their lives in 1857 rebellion and to salute the brave martyrs. The Haryana government will spend an amount of Rs 300 crore on the construction of this monument which will be built on 22 acres of land. The people can donate items will be displayed in the gallery along with the concerned name and address. Public Relations and Language Department said that if any person has any item related to the revolution of 1857 as the heritage of their ancestor’s war equipment, postal stamp, any other items issued on the revolution of 1857 as the heritage can be given to the Haryana government for maintaining as heritage.
