The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will allot 1, 246 ready-to-move in flats to buyers at two locations from October 10. The possession of multi-storey flats will be available in Sector 12 and Omicron 1. The Authority has launched the new housing scheme with 1-BHK, 2-BHK and 3-BHK flats with modern amenities. The flats are priced Rs 28 lakh to Rs 74 lakh based on the space and amenities. The Authority has developed 987 flats in Sector Omicron 1 while the rest of them are located in Sector 12. The move is a big boost to the real estate industry which is facing recession for some time. The Authority officials said the apartments, surrounded by greenery, are located near educational institutions and Pari Chowk. The apartments also have a good connectivity to Delhi and NCR. The Authority said that the metro station in the neighbourhood will be operational soon which will further provide last mile connectivity. The Jewar airport will be located at a distance of 20 kilometres from the apartment. Sachin Kumar, officer on special duty (OSD), GNIDA, said, “The homebuyers can visit the GNIDA website from Wednesday for the possession of these flats. We will analyse the applications and allot the homes to suitable buyers after payment,” the OSD said. The Authority’s website will display the build-up housing scheme brochure from October 10. The interested candidates would be able to download the brochure and see the allotment process, eligibility criteria and other details of the scheme. The allottees will have to pay the total premium after adjusting the 10% registration amount within 90 days from the date of allotment.
