Godrej Properties to develop residential project in Bengaluru
Real estate developer Godrej Properties is planning to develop a new residential project on a 7.5 acre land in north Bengaluru. The project on Bellary Road (NH-7) will be of around 8 lakh square feet, the company said in a BSE filing. "Bangalore is a key market for us and this project addition fits with our strategy of expanding our presence in the city," said Pirojsha Godrej, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties. The company has been aggresive in its expansion plans despite the overall slowdown in the sector. It is actively looking at tapping the the complete Delhi-NCR market with new residential projects in Delhi, Faridabad and Ghaziabad in the near future. The projects could be in the form of plotted development, group housing or villa development.
