GIHED fresh take on Realty

Today, digital advertising is taking the markets by storm. More so because, the overused traditional media like radio, outdoor, television and print is rapidly losing its place. This is where the Digital Media marketing has come as an absolute game changer for various industries & segments including real estate sector. While, cities like New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai are witnessing increased use of digital media, there are still several tier-II cities that are yet to understand the benefits of digital advertising. To create awareness on the same, Insomniacs Digital media agency in association with Google recently held an information workshop ‘Realty Digi War’in Ahmedabad, one of the hottest real estate destinations of India. Supporting the event was Gujarat Institute of Housing and Estate Developers (GIHED one of the prestigious bodies of developers of the state. The president of GIHED, Dipak Patel speaking at the event expressed his desire to bridge the gap between consumers and real estate developers through the use of technical expertise. The challenge was determining at what level the problem had to be addressed. With the involvement of event’s director of Gobananas Mihir Ranpara, the problem was rightfully addressed along with GIHED, leading to a participation of over 200 developers. Director of Digital and Strategist of INIT, Govind Rai acted as the flag bearer of the seminar. Issues such as, how to generate more leads, how to get more conversions, lowering the cost of acquisitions were deliberated. J.S Augustine the chairman of MCHI CREDAI and Strategist of Nirmal Lifestyle made a presentation on Digital Case Studies. Pertinent issues of direct communication, lead generation, real-time campaigns and digital advertising were discussed during the panel discussions. The panellists included Gobanana’s Director Khantil Mehta, president of GIHED –Dipak Patel, director of Pacific companies Rocky H Israni, Ajay Patel of Synthesis Group, J. Augustine and Google Spokesperson Yatharth Atri.
