Foyr, a prop-tech company, has secured $3.8 million of Series-A funding from property consultancy firm Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and joined by a clutch of individual and non-institutional investors. With the latest round of funding, the company plans to enhance its technology stack and launch new products by next year. Foyr’s Founder & CEO Shailesh Goswami said, "This will be pivotal in our expansion to newer markets in India and abroad.” The company uses 3D visualization technology and virtual reality to create an immersive 3D model of any given space. "We see its technology as a key to the enhancement and development of the real estate industry as we know it, which will be the future of selling commercial and residential projects to the prospective buyers,” said Anuj Nangpal, CEO of Real Estate Technology Fund.
