Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is all set to launch its 2019 housing scheme on Monday. On offer are nearly 18,000 flats, including more than 1,200 three-bedroom, two-bedroom and one-bedroom flats in south Delhi's VasantKunj. The land-owning agency's latest housing scheme is also one of its costliest till date with three-bedroom flats being offered in the range of Rs 1.4 crore to Rs 1.7 crore. While two-bedroom flats will cost somewhere between Rs 66 lakh and Rs 1.4 crore, one-bedroom flats are priced in the range of Rs 22.5 lakh to Rs 56.3 lakh. DDA usually offers flats at the cost price and on a no-profit-no-loss basis, but this time, the flat prices have taken the market value in consideration, particularly in VasantKunj, where market rates are relatively higher. The total number of flats on offer in VasantKunj is 1,286. Of this, 336 flats are three-bedroom ones. Most of the flats on offer in the current housing scheme are located in Narela, with the lion's share of flats being one-bedroom ones (8,164) or flats meant for economically weaker sections (6,536).
