Havells Presented ‘Spotlight’ organized by Realty+ Masterclass on December 11, 2021 featured Yatin Patel, a first-generation architect sharing his knowledge and expertise on “Revolutionizing Trends of Modern Workspaces” The eminent speaker elaborated on the novel technology-driven smart strategies for office spaces during his talk. In his presentation, he gave examples of use of biophilia, natural lighting and acoustical lighting as well as the design approach of creating neighbourhoods to cater to the modern way of working post covid. “Apart from inclusion and diversity, neuro diversity in office environment is becoming an important factor to consider. It means each individual responds differently to similar environment such as lighting, acoustics colour etc. and therefore the same has to be accounted in design,” said Architect Yatin Patel. Joining him for a discussion Prag Bhatnagar Strategic Business Unit Head & Executive Vice President, Havells India Ltd shared how Smart lighting can help create a healthy environment. According to him, understanding the role of lighting technology in office spaces that empowers sustainability and wellness. In conclusion, architect Patel stated that future proof designs are no longer valid. Flexibility, technology, data and trends are ever so evolving and will play a big part in building designs going forward.
