Property consultancy Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Vivek Dahiya as managing director for north India business of the company.

Dahiya earlier was a founding partner of GenReal and headed their office and retail leasing operations. He will continue to advise current assignments and client relationships, as mutually agreed with GenReal. Dahiya has also been part of the leadership roles in other property consultancies like DTZ and JLL in the past.

According to Anshul Jain, Country Head & Managing Director, India, Cushman & Wakefield, the appointment of Dahiya is an important move in strengthening the company's team in the northern region.
