CREDAI NCR remains a high priority region for CREDAI during "Change of Guard" 2019-20
CREDAI, the apex body of private Real Estate Developers with a strong base of over 12000 member developers present in 23 States & 205 City Chapters across India, today witnessed its ‘Change of Guard’ with SatishMagar taking over the baton from Jaxay Shah to become the new president of the 20-year-old body. The installation ceremony saw the gracious presence of CREDAI Executive and General Committee members, industry stalwarts, and dignitaries from the industry and all past presidents of CREDAI National. Vishal Gupta was unanimously elected as Vice President to represent the North Zone at the National level. Pankaj Goel also from NCR was nominated as the Secretary of the prestigious association. Pankaj Bajaj, President CREDAI NCR will head the committee on Urban Development entrusted with policies to promote private sector developers in the development of smart cities and urban social infrastructure. CREDAI Women’s Wing, a business forum with a long term aim of making this industry gender neutral will be headed by BaniAnand from the NCR region. Manoj Gaur with a stellar record of delivering houses to lower- and middle-income groups will head the Affordable Housing panel of the national body. Reiterating CREDAI’s commitment towards the nation, Magar and his team intend to build a stronger skilling ecosystem and aim to impart skill training to one lakh construction worker over the next two years. The new leadership team has a comprehensive roadmap for Skilling in place. Under the leadership of Magar, the new team will explore opportunities to tie up with statutory bodies like RERA, BoCW and Welfare boards for Skilling, Up-skilling, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and other scheme by Central Govt. The customized industry partnered Skilling Programs will be launched to create a talent pool of Skilled labor for the ever-burgeoning Indian Real Estate industry, revitalized with a new upsurge post the implementation of landmark reforms such as RERA, GST etc.
