Chandigarh Municipal Corporation to hike commercial property tax
The Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh has approved a 10 % increase in the commercial property tax system on August 30, 2017. The decision was taken in 248thmeeting of the general house of the municipal corporation of Chandigarh. Punjab governor and UT administrator VP Singh Badnore has approved the said 10 % increase in the commercial property tax rate system for the new financial year, starting from April 1, 2018, and the local body government will issue the notification soon.
