Centre to help in metro train projects
Union Minister of Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naidu announced that the central government will offer assistance to the Metro Train Projects in two major Madhya Pradesh cities of Bhopal and Indore. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that from December 25 to January 25 the "Nagarodaya Abhiyan" and other development campaigns will be run through the state. The public will be encouraged to participate in these campaigns. Naidu said that the Centre will spend Rs 20,500 crore for smart cities and Rs 8,500 crore for the "Amrut Yojna".
