Realty+ has once again proved that hard work reaps results by successfully hosting the Virtual Edition of the 12th Realty+ Conclave & Excellence Awards 2020 | WEST. The event held on Oct 09, 2020 brought together stalwarts from the real estate industry and kick started with an encouraging keynote by, Dr Annurag Batra, Editor-in-Chief & Chairman of exchange4media Group & BusinessWorld. The event powered by Greatwhite Global Pvt. Ltd with official virtual event partner Almond Virtex, showcased the real estate industry’s resilience during these unprecedented times. The first session moderator by the ever enthusiastic Anuj Puri, Chairman Anarock Group was titled Last Mile Funding & Realty Revival. The speakers were Sunil Rohokale, Managing Director & CEO, ASK Group; Irfan Kazi, Chief Investment Officer, SWAMIH Investment Fund - I, SBICap Ventures Ltd., Sharad Mittal, Executive Director & CEO, Motilal; Dev Santani, MD - Brookfield Special Investments, Brookfield Asset Management; Kaushik Desai, Executive Director, Walton Street India, Amit Goenka, Managing Director & CEO, Nisus Finance & Investment Managers | Nisus Fincorp Private Limited, Anuranjan Mohnot, Founder, Managing Director & CEO, Lumos Alternate Investment Advisors Pvt. Ltd. The second panel of the E-conclave was titled Mumbai Housing Market: The Suburbs Beckon moderated by Ramesh Nair, Country Head & CEO, JLL India with panellists Chintan Sheth, Director, Ashwin Sheth Group, Dhaval Ajmera, Director, Ajmera Group of Companies, Jaideep Gandhi, Founder, Another Idea, Mani Rangarajan, Group COO, Housing.com, Makaan.com, Proptiger.com, Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Hiranandani Communities and President, NAREDCO & ASSOCHAM, Shailesh Puranik, Managing Director, Puranik Builders Ltd. The third session of the day revolved around Mumbai Commercial Realty: Demand & Investments and was moderated by Neeraj Bansal, Partner & COO, India Global & Head Corridors (ASEAN, HK), KPMG in India with speakers Amit Ramani, Founder & CEO, Awfis Space Solutions Private Limited; Ambar Maheshwari, CEO, Indiabulls Asset Management; Sunny Bijlani, Joint Managing Director, Supreme Universal, Vivek Chandy, Joint Managing Partner, J. Sagar Associates (JSA); Ravi Ahuja, Head - Commercial Business, L&T Realty. The final panel discussion titled Urban Planning & Changing Design Sensibilities was moderated by Gurjot Bhatia, Managing Director - Project Management Group, CBRE India, Middle East and North Africa and had speakers Anubhav Gupta, Business Head Vikhroli, Head CSR & Sustainability, Founder, GPL Design Studio, Godrej Properties, Prof. Charanjit Singh Shah, Founding Principal, Creative Group, Jayant Vaitha, Director & Head Design Services, Colliers International India, Pankaj Dharkar, Director, Pankaj Dharkar & Associates, National Chairman - GEM Council, ASSOCHAM, Rahul Kadri, Partner & Principal Architect, IMK Architects & Vijay Wadhwa, Founder and MD, The Wadhwa Group. The power packed E-conclave came to an end with an energetic fireside conversation between Anuj Puri, Chairman Anarock Group & Khushru Jijina, MD, Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Ltd. The glittering awards evening commenced with felicitation segment. Ar. Hafeez Contractor, Founder & Principal, Architect Hafeez Contractor (AHC) received the Realty+ Lifetime Achievement Award for his tremendous contribution to the industry. Dr Niranjan Hiranandani, MD Hiranandani Group presented him the felicitation and extended his best wishes.
