A CBI special court summoned the director of Unitech Limited, Ajay Chandra, on the next date of hearing (February 17), in the multi-crore theme-cum-amusement park project scam. During the resumed hearing of the case on Thursday, the CBI court was informed that accused Chandra was lodged in Tihar jail and could not be brought to Chandigarh as he was to be produced before Delhi high court in another case. Following this, the CBI court has issued a fresh summon. The court has, however, exempted others - the then UT advisor to administrator, Lalit Sharma; the then home secretary, Krishan Mohan, and the then director tourism, Vivek Attray - from appearing.
