Casa Grande signs MoU with Coldman Logistics
Casa Grande Distripark has signed an MoU with Coldman Logistics Pvt. Ltd, India’s Leading Cold Chain Service Provider to build a Temperature Controlled and Ambient Goods Warehouse within their Multipurpose Warehousing Park at Mappedu, Sriperumbudur. The location of the facility has been decided strategically keeping in mind the close proximity to Chennai & Ennore Port along the Oragadam- Sriperumbudur Industrial Cluster. The warehouse will be spread over an area of 2.50 lakh sq. ft. which will cater to dedicated Pharma / Life Sciences and Food/Industrial products. The total capacity will be around 7,000 pallets with 10,000 sq. ft. catering to ambient products. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ravi Kannan, CEO, Coldman Logistics Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are happy to come together and work with a renowned developer like Casa Grande. It is an ideal location and offers superior connectivity from the city. With this warehouse, we have come up with a state of the art facility to provide a viable option for pharma and food brands.” Commenting on the occasion Mr. Prasad Motiram Kotpati, MD, Casa Grande Distripark said “With an annual growth rate of 28%, the underlying potential for temperature controlled warehouses in the Indian context is immense. The MoU is the first step in this direction to address the demand for warehouse capacity by working in tandem with Coldman.”
