Bihar RERA appoints retired judge to hear complaints
Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) Bihar has appointed retired district judge Ved Prakash as the adjudicating officer for listening to complaints and dispute of buyers under Section 71 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016. Prakash will take charge on July 19. He will hear and resolve the complaints under Sections 12, 13, 18 and 19. Bihar RERA rules mandate that complaints must be disposed of within 60 days. RERA Bihar is also to rope in a private firm to conduct a survey and identify the unregistered ongoing projects in the state.
