Bareilly development body to crack down on commercial units in residential houses
Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) will soon be undertaking drives across the city to check on illegal practice of running commercial activities from residential units. According to the BDA officials, there are several establishments which have building layout approved in the residential category but are being used to carry out commercial activities. To check the violation, drives will be launched in upscale city localities, including Rampur Garden, Civil Lines and adjacent areas. The identified establishments will be sealed or demolished.
