Allcargo Logistics has managed to attain an enviable score in the high 70s based on superior employee engagement practices and a people-centric outlook. Allcargo Logistics participated in the GPTW Employee Survey 2019 with a response rate of over 85% employees. Allcargo Logistics has been participating in the reputed GPTW Employee Survey since 2012 as a part of its mission to enhance workplace experience for its people by gaining a better understanding of its workplace dynamics as well as redesigning its people systems and practices. In the survey, employees of Allcargo Logistics have acknowledged, among other aspects, the Competence, Credibility & High Ethical Standards of Management, Inclusiveness in Management Approach as well as great Career Opportunities made available to Work, Learn and Grow professionally. They have also reinforced feelings of immense Pride at being associated with a reputed brand like Allcargo and the respect they have for all the work being done in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility. “It’s a moment of pride for us. Our score in GPTW Employee Survey 2019 reflects our commitment to make Allcargo Logistics a truly Great Place To Work. It also underlines the efforts that all People Managers take to engage with and motivate team members with their people-savvy leadership. The responses, comments and suggestions of the participants will guide us, as we continuously review and redesign our people processes and practices. We are committed to attract, retain and engage the best talent through a vibrant and empowering work environment,” said ShashiKiran Shetty, Chairman, Allcargo Logistics Ltd. As part of the Certification process, GPTW evaluates the organisation on two parameters - the Trust Index Employee Survey and the Culture Audit Management Questionnaire. In the Trust Index Employee Survey, the assessment is based on the confidential and anonymous feedback of the employees of a company. Culture Audit Management Questionnaire analyses the value system, programs and practices of a particular company. Allcargo Logistics has scored well on both parameters to be qualified for this Certification. Independent research shows that organizations which are great workplaces perform three times better than the general market standard and experience up to 50 per cent less employee attrition. The stellar performance of Allcargo Logistics in the survey is particularly important because the fantastic increase in our Great Place to Work® Trust Index© Score from previous years has the ability to positively impact productivity, innovation, costs and other business results. Allcargo has always worked diligently on these aspects in the last 25 years and will continue to do so, as it now embarks on the journey from SILVER to GOLD. “Our goal is to be counted amongst India’s and the world’s best workplaces and to be seen as an employer of choice in the logistics domain” added Shetty.
