Affordable housing launches dips
Affordable Housing launches in Noida and Greater Noida have dipped in the first half of this year.According to real estate pundits, affordable housing in the region is expected to get further affected by increasing land rates in the region as well.
According to a report by Cushman and Wakefield, the fall in affordable housing launches in Noida and Greater Noida is a contrast to the trends in the rest of the country where affordable housing is on the rise.
“ Going forward we expect to see more affordable housing projects to come up given the cost benefit in creating these units. The time taken for ground breaking to completion is lower than that for the mid-or high-end apartments,” said Anshul Jain, Managing Director, Cushman& Wakefield.
