Vertical growth of the cities is a step in a right direction

Speaking of the pros, vertical cities helps in keeping the land spared for other purposes, for instance- agriculture, etc.This is quite evident that due to an increase in population, the tall buildings are booming day by day in a city side. In cities,skyscrapers and high-rise buildings effectively answer density problems with a low footprint, most of them feature a homogenized operate, contributory to the matter of town centers turning into strictly business zones. Which approach is best suited for which city depends on its geography, governance, transport infrastructure, real estate and many other factors. If mega tall buildings are planned, we need to ensure they have sky gardens and equivalent of city parks as well as wind turbines and solar panels for green energy. We have the choice to make the near future cities more sustainable, resilient and livable.  China is the best example here, one who has aggressively adopted this approach to manage it’s growing cities. Each year 25 million of its rural population are migrating to the cities. There are now over 160 cities in China with a population of over 1 million, according to China Today.
