The man, who always wears a welcoming smile, has transformed wishes of millions into reality. Sukhraj Nahar is a pioneer in creating the concept of township residences offering holistic way of living. A young man who came to Mumbai with many dreams and aspirations, he tasted victory the hard way. Initially he started a business of readymade garments along with his friends. From there he took a giant leap in real estate, as it had always been of interest to him. Today he is a visionary leader, creating landmark structures. In the yearly 1970s, Sukhraj constructed his small project in Santacruz that turned out tthat brought him, his first success. With abundant motivation and tremendous zeal, he never looked back. He continued to construct landmark residences, industrial estates and commercial complexes. He strategically developed structures which turned into Mumbai’s famous landmarks such as Shah and Nahar Industrial Estates, Sarvodaya Nagar in Mulund, Nahar Nagar in Malad and Nahar's Amrit Shakti in Chandivali to name a few. Life tested him right from the beginning of his journey. Born and raised in Bhinmal, a small desert village in Rajasthan. Nahar, owing to his fascination of green lands, has built his prime projects instilling green environment. Nahar Group’s flagship project ‘Nahar's Amrit Shakti’ in Chandivali is known to many as Mumbai’s green zone. Developed in several phases on an astounding 125 acres, makes this project, nothing less than a splendor. An inventor and visionary that he is, he saw the need to create a holistic living within the city, where families wouldcome home to lush green landscape and relish all the amenities right at the doorstep. It’s an integrated self-sustainable township, redefining a luxury living with well-planned and modern infrastructure. With Nahar's Amrit Shakti, the Group entered into luxury segment attracting Non-Resident Indians. His intent to provide better life to every home-buyer resulted in Company’s expansion pan India. Nahar Group is expanding by constructing about one million sq. ft. annually. Nahar Group has ventured in Ahmedabad and Rajasthan as well.The group recently launched Tower of Adyar, in Chennai which represents an epitome of premium living. Several organizations have recognized him as an influencer for his business acumen and his domain expertise. Sukhraj Nahar has been honored with various prestigious positions like President of Rajasthani Welfare Association, Chairman of Sarvodaya Mandir and Hon. Treasurer of MCHI – CREDAI, Managing Committee etc. His expertise and abilities were identified by Jain International Trade Organization and made him Chairman of Mumbai Zone. He is constantly contributing towards business and community’s progress. Sukharaj Nahar was recently awarded with India’s Most Admired Business Leader Award from White Page International. The seed of success lies in efficient planning and delivering par expectations. He has achieved and fulfilled his dreams along with the support of his wife Mrs. Sohini Devi Nahar, daughters Dimple, Shital, Puja, and son Ajay Nahar. Sukharaj Nahar believes in contributing towards society for its betterment. He is a philanthropist and socially very active. Sukharaj Nahar also started medical facilities, charitable hospitals and diagnostic centers, considering the growing healthcare needs of the community.When The Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi announced Swacha Bharat Abhiyan, Sukharaj Nahar initiated the cause in Mulund and Chandivali. He also supported people whose lives were affected by natural disasters during Mumbai floods and draught affected areas in Rajasthan.He was given an honor of the ‘Oneness of Mahavir’ and ‘Mahatma’ Award by The Times of India for his contribution towards social work. Not just Sukharaj Nahar’sbut his wife Mrs. Sohini Devi supports and undertakes charitable work at great length. Although she rarely speaks of the earnest charitable work she has been doing over three decades. Mrs. Sohini Devi have supported many institutions in food, education, spiritual, and healthcare at grassroot level. She is a trustee of Sukharaj B. Nahar Charitable Trust and many more noble institutions.The trust provides ration and food to numerous needy rural people and also nurture and develops talents of young students in the field of healthcare, sports, culture and science.
