Last month, the state government approved 170-km Pune Ring Road project and appointed Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation for execution. The proposed road will divert vehicles coming from Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, thereby decongesting the roads. Another recent decision with respect to infrastructure has been to extend the Pune metro line from Vanaz to Chandni Chowk, which is three minutes away from Bavdhan. This will further ease the commute from Bavdhan to various areas of Pune. Once the metro line is ready, residents will comfortably get to commute to distant corners of Pune including Kalyani Nagar, Ramwadi, Swargate and Pimpri-Chinchwad. These factors are driving the demand for residential apartments in Bavdhan.
