In his pursuit to bring only the very best to Pune, Chordia has been a pioneer and a game-changer of sorts in the world of real estate in the country. With diversified business interests across residential, commercial, hospitality and retail, Panchshil Realty, under Chordia’s able leadership,is breaking new grounds and creating landmarks of tomorrow. A commerce graduate from the University of Pune, Atul Ishwardas Chordia, with his acute business sense, successfully led Panchshil Realty to introduce some of the most famous international branded residences in the Indian market. He has also successfully launched some of the city’s biggest hospitality landmarks such as JW Marriot, Marriot Suites, Courtyard Marriot, Double Tree Hilton, Oakwood and the soon to be launched Ritz Carlton. Over the last decade, Panchshil Realty has had "many firsts" to its credit:

  • South Asia's largest convention centers- ICC Pune
  • India's first Special Economic Zone(SEZ) - EON Free Zone,
  • India’s first Trump Towers
  • India’s first Philippe Starck homes - Yoopune
In pursuit of adding resident, corporate and investor value alike,Chordia has always maintained an unwavering vision to create globally benchmarked residences, offering the best in construction, for a brand loyal customer base drawn from across the world. The same has also been supported with the finest social and public infrastructure, created by Panchshil around its properties, for holistic development of the entire area. In commercial realty, Atul Chordia has redefined the very skyline of the city with global workplaces housing top Fortune 500 brands and corporates. These include EON IT Park, World Trade Center Pune, Business Bay and Panchshil Tech Park One, to name a few. Back in2002, when India was still waking up to the IT boom that was largely restricted to Tier I cities, Chordia was among the forerunners to recognize the immense role that Pune could play as an economic powerhouse of India’s growth. At that point, Panchshil took on the assignment of developing the upcoming International Convention Centre (ICC) project that would go on to change the manner in which trade and business was conducted in Pune. While for many, excellence is an ever moving target, Chordia lives by the same maxim. After several successful luxury and commercial projects, Panchshil took on the assignment to develop four commercial projects across Mumbai and Pune, which would create 50,000 jobs in Maharashtra alone. Most developers across the real estate industry in India have adopted the business model of 'Build-Sell-Exit', Panchshil Realty has always maintained a principle of ‘Build-Lease/Sell-Manage' model.Panchshil's integrated approach covers everything from planning, construction, architectural and design services to developing infrastructure around its properties, and even providing automation and facility management services. Chordia has always believed in the philosophy of “Promoting the City', rather than just a project or business. Chordia, has invested in developing Pune's urban and civic infrastructure, thereby also tremendously creating premium residential and commercial landmarks and taking the city to a global league altogether. Reflecting Atul Chordia’s deep-rooted cultural and personal bond with the city,Panchshil has been at the forefront of countless community initiatives in Pune, through the support of events such as the Pune Shaniwarwada Dance and Music Festival, Pune Biennale and Pune International Film Festival, among others. Extending his own passion for sports, Chordia is actively connected with sporting events and initiatives round the year as well. Today, what started with a team of five has grown to a thousand plus strong organization. Yet, every colleague and partner of Panchshil Realty is deeply committed to delivering their Chairman’s vision of bringing the world to Pune.
