Work to begin at Dubai Safari park

The main building of Dubai’s Safari Park project will undergo construction work valued at Dh151 million. The project will be constructed on an area of 119 hectares in Warqa 5, at an estimated cost of up to one billion dirhams. Safari Park aims to create the region’s best centre for wildlife, in which the Dubai Municipality has been keen to achieve excellence through transforming a constructive landfill site into an attractive tourist destination with a various wildlife environment. The Dubai Safari is a solar powered facility adopting smart services with complicity of sustainability conditions and use of treated water. The project includes implementation of a package of works in terms of the interactive activities between visitors and animals, BM-S smart system (OS) ticketing system, surveillance cameras that will ensure a safe environment for the visitors, in addition to providing free WiFi. Going ahead, it will includes a theatre for various activities that can accommodate more than 1,000 people with an external metal structure, clean power generating park, children interaction park, and a 3.7-km-fence around the entire project. All these works are scheduled to complete by the end of 2016.
