US home builder sentiment rises
US home builder sentiment unexpectedly rose in September to its strongest level in 11 months. The National Association of Home Builders and Wells Fargo said their index on builder confidence regarding newly built, single-family homes climbed to 65 points in September. “ As household incomes rise, builders in many markets across the nation are reporting they are more serious buyers, a positive sign that the housing market continues to move forward,” said Ed Brady, Chairman, NAHB.
