UK allows In-Person Real Estate Deals
Restrictions were lifted on England’s real estate market, allowing activity to resume in accordance with government-mandated guidelines. Though the move will inject a welcome dose of confidence into the market and the economy, but it won’t completely repair slumping transaction levels or prices, according to experts. Buyers and renters are now able to complete home purchases and view properties in person, while estate agents, conveyancers and removals firms can return to work if they follow social-distancing guidelines, the government said.
