OYO Hotels reiterates its commitment to the US; Elevates Kasra Moshkani to lead business as it shows stable signs of recovery. Under the able leadership of Moshkani who previously led the company's operations in Eastern US, including Northeast and Southeast US, the company aims to continue delivering quality living spaces across 37 states in the US, with 300+ hotels and nearly 20,000 rooms. It has recorded promising signs of recovery post a tough COVID period that significantly impacted the occupancy and revenue. In US, RevPar* reaches ~92% of pre-COVID levels; the company added 8,000+ rooms to its chain since January. In over a year, OYO has established its footprint across 37 states in the US with 300+ hotels and nearly 20,000 rooms. It also operates OYO Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and OYO Hotel Times Square in New York. The hotel chain is now witnessing slow and steady recovery driven primarily by the Southeast. Utilizing the lockdown period, the company went back to the basics, focusing on its core strengths -- technology, data science, and operational excellence.
