London pricey for first time home buyers
London is now the 10th least affordable city in Canada for single people, according to figures Zoocasa crunched in January – and the market has only gotten costlier. Zoocasa, a real estate research and information website, reports that a spike in real estate values here is good for homeowners but it’s making it tougher for single people looking to enter the market. Home prices in London were up 11.2 per cent in March compared to the same month last year, compared to flat growth (0 per cent) in the Toronto area, and a 31.4 per cent plunge in the Vancouver market that is undergoing a correction.
