Coema, the state council on the environment of the Brazilian state of Ceara last week approved a solar complex project with about 264 MW of installed capacity. Named Complexo Fotovo ltaico Apodi, the project will require BRL 800 million (USD 245.18m/EUR 219.98m) in investments to be made in its seven solar farms. In total, the complex will consist of 825,300 solar modules of 320 Wp each. The solar plant, once completed, will cover four different cities. Its energy will be fed into the grid via a 230-Kv overhead transmission line.
