ViClean-I 100 from Villeroy&Boch sets a new standard in the design of shower toilets. It looks just like a conventional toilet as the technology has been integrated into the ceramic and not the seat. ViClean-I 100 boasts clear lines and a minimalist look, accentuated by the ultra-flat toilet seat. Add to that the intuitive use and convenient shower functions and the new ViClean-I 100 becomes a subtle centerpiece in any purist bathroom. Background and innovation Shower toilets are becoming increasingly popular and can be found in many bathrooms with high-quality fittings. More and more people are turning to shower toilets as they want to experience the pleasant, thorough and gentle clean feeling that fresh water provides as well as benefit from the impressive hygienic advantages. However, when it comes to design, the bulky shape and visible technology of conventional shower toilets have not been able to win people over. This changes with the new ViClean-I 100 from Villeroy&Boch. It looks like a conventional wall-mounted toilet. Behind its purist exterior, the ViClean-I 100 conceals a high-quality shower toilet that was developed and produced entirely in Europe. The best materials have been combined together – high-quality sanitary ceramics for the toilet, a seat made from robust Duroplast with solid hinges in stainless steel and a shower nozzle cover made from the patented Quaryl® material. The nozzle tips and panel create a flush look. Thanks to this InvisibleJet technology, the shower nozzle is practically invisible when not active. Operating concept and shower functions ViClean-I 100 is both simple and convenient to use. It is intuitive and can be easily operated by remote control or a smartphone app. Several shower functions are available that will leave users feeling refreshingly clean. The highlight is the HarmonicWave shower jet, which intelligently combines oscillating and rotating movements together for the first time while providing a thorough and revitalising wash. It also includes a rear wash and a lady wash for intimate areas. The hot water system with a flow heater ensures constant warm water is available immediately. The water temperature, intensity of the water spray and shower nozzle positions can be adjusted individually. Hygiene and cleaning ViClean-I 100 relies on intelligent technologies and solutions for hygienic cleanliness. The shower nozzle is cleaned automatically before and after every use. The flush-fitting installation of the shower nozzle in the panel protects it from impurities and makes the smooth surface easy to clean. ViClean-I 100 comes as a rimless DirectFlush toilet. It has as a special splashguard at the top of the bowl instead of a conventional rim and an intelligent flushing system, which ensures a complete flush without any splashing. The fully glazed rimless ceramic, which has the proven dirt-repellent CeramicPlus surface, is quick and easy to clean. Just like the toilet seat with the QuickRelease mechanism, which can be removed completely when it is being cleaned. Durability and installation The ViClean-I 100 shower toilet is easy to install, even by one person, requiring little time and effort thanks to the integrated mounting aid and SupraFix attachment system. The concealed water and power connections are easy to connect. And the new shower toilet is perfect for the ViConnect installation systems, which have an exclusive choice of high-quality flush plates that can also be fitted with discreet lighting. ViClean-I 100 has a long lifespan thanks to its high quality and precise workmanship. The sophisticated construction also makes it easy to service and repair. It was designed to not only simplify all service and repair work, but to also minimise the costs. The most important shower toilet modules can be easily accessed via a special service flap behind the toilet lid, which makes it easy to repair the shower toilet without having to dismount the toilet. ViClean-I 100 also has a display that will show an error code if there are any technical problems, which the user can read and pass on to the service technician. They in turn can estimate the time and effort needed to complete the work and also bring the right spare parts, if any are needed. There is also an app for the service technician to help make a diagnosis on site. The app gives a step-by-step guide on how to repair the error, including service documents and films.
