A corporate venturing subsidiary of Atha Group believes that Technology and Innovation would be the key future growth drivers of the sector. Today AMPL has one of the best technologies adapted across segments in order to cater to the best needs of its customers. As the company wins projects largely through a stiff bidding process of Central and State Power utilities who are also their major buyers of electricity, they have to follow the best in class technology to provide high quality output. The company had to deploy products and equipments and technology of the highest standards which are certified by International Agencies and works with ISO certified EPC contractors to build the projects and deliver quality and value for its customers. Currently AMPL 9 operating solar power plants and wind portfolio of total 200 MW capacity spread across Karnataka, Telengana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and wind assets of 12.5 MW in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Rajasthan. The primary customers of the company are NTPC VidyutVitaran Nigam Limited (NVVN) & Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), with an off take of more than 50 percent of the energy produced. The rest of the power has been bought by state utilities of MP, Telengana and Karnataka. We have already bagged an order from the TN State power utility to buy 200 MW of power from our upcoming projects there. It is one of our largest projects in the country and expected to be completed by end of 2019. Thriving on technology the company has set a long term vision set for their business that is in sync-with our government’s growth plans for the country. It is keen, ‘to make renewable energy the leading contributor to the energy system and thereby offering an environment friendly sustainable zero emission power supply through operational and managerial excellence and passion for people in this country’ AMPL has been focusing more towards operations, performance and transformation of businesses across segments through organic and inorganic means. AMPL is aiming to achieve a target of 1000 MW by 2020. AMPL has already built a solar asset base of over 200 MW and another 300 MW of solar power projects are in pipeline which are expected to be commission by the end of 2019. This is completely in sync with our Governments ‘India 2022 strategic growth plans’. For us the expansion of company’s renewable energy portfolio represents its integrated element for growth, industrial innovation, leadership and competitiveness as well as for reducing emissions. We aim to generate more jobs, investments, infrastructure, lower energy costs and revenues for government and local communities in the coming years. Beyond technology the company will continue to focus on multiple channels for its future growth, incl. diversification, vertical and horizontal integration, organic growth and M&As. AMPL would continue to create robust solar and wind energy assets with the state of the art technology that will be a key contributor towards our sustainability. Company has already established its presence in the ground mounted Utility Scale plants and now would enter in to fast growing rooftop solar segment and grid level energy storage solutions. The Management believes that the future growth for the segment would come from a mix of Government and Private Tenders apart from the M&A route. We will follow a similar strategy for growth in our foreign operations such as South Africa, Namibia, other parts of Asia Africa, Malaysia, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka.
