Sumadhura Group tops the winner list of May Day event
Sumadhura Group, one of the South India’s top realtors which has been widely recognised for its exceptional projects, recently participated in a May Day sports event organised by CREDAI Bengaluru at Mount Carmel Grounds, Vasanth Nagar, Bengaluru. Over 50 construction labourers from various projects of Sumadhura Group participated in the event which included sports activities such as long jump, shot put, 100 metres and 200 metres race for both men and women. Sumadhura Group focuses on building healthy societies and taking this pursuit further, the group has also been organising sports events on different occasions such as Women’s day apart from encouraging workers and employees to participate in similar events. Construction labourers from ongoing projects such as Sumadhura Soham, Sumadhura Eden Garden, SumadhuraNandanam bagged 8 positions at the event in various sports categories and this in turn led the group to overtake its competition and exhibit the best performance at the event. The female category winners outshined their male counterparts with Shivamma from the SumadhuraNandanam project and Sravani from the Sumadhura Eden Garden project leading the winners list in terms of the number of prizes won. The winners were felicitated by Smt. RohiniSindhuri, IAS, Secretary, Karnataka Building and Construction Workers Welfare. Overjoyed by her victory in 3 activities Shivamma, a laborer from Sumadhura Group said “I am very happy today as I have participated in all the activities and received prizes in 3 sports categories. Events like this help us to explore and exhibit our talent and give us immense enjoyment. I am extremely thankful to my team who kept supporting me throughout all the activities. This is the third year I am receiving the prize at CREDAI’s May Day event”.
