Sans Souci Illuminates a Kuala Lumpur Skyscraper
Czech lighting giant Sans Souci has elevated Southeast Asia’s tallest skyscraper—Exchange 106 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with its lights. Exchange 106, which is Southeast Asia’s tallest skyscraper comprises 93 floors of office space, as well as restaurants and shops on its lower levels. This skyscraper features a unique geometric glass crown that can be illuminated in a number of hues and a “sky lobby” on the 57th floor, which offers panoramic views of the Malaysian capital city. Exchange 106 also houses Sans Souci’s Sky Fall installation. This striking lighting fixture has 734 crystal balls with a soda effect, which provides dramatic reflections in the daytime and a one-of-a-kind glow at night with pulsing LED chips implemented in the crystal component. Furthermore, the buidling’s shiny ceiling reflects the Sky Fall light installation creating a water mirroring effect that adds lightness as well as depth to the space.
