Residents at NGT over Noida Extension malls
A group of residents from Noida Extension on Sunday lodged a formal complaint with the National Green Tribunal (NGT), along with visual evidence, against builders who are developing a series of malls in the area. Residents have alleged that the builders are violating NGT’s pollution control norms for construction sites. The residents mailed their compliant to NGT alleging that builders have encroached on service lanes, as construction material and debris are found lying on the roads. They also said that there is no water sprinkling at the sites and no green net covers are visible on any building or the construction material that have piled up along the roads.
