PNC Infratech bags Rs 869 crore road project in UP
Indian infrastructure construction, development and management company pnc infratech said that it has bagged a Rs 868.5-crore contract for four-laning of a road project in Uttar Pradesh (UP). The company said that it had been "declared as L1(lowest) bidder for the project of 4-laning of Varanasi-Gorakhpur section of NH-29 from KM 12.000 to km 88.000...in the state of Uttar Pradesh under NHDP Phase-IV at a contract price of Rs 868.50 crore while informing to BSE Ltd. (Bombay Stock Exchange). The price bids were opened on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 with PNC’s bid being declared the lowest (L1). PNC's total order intake during the current financial year now stands at over Rs.2,800 crore. The firm’s total order book, in terms of contracts pending execution, is now over Rs. 4,600 crore; this includes projects where the company is L1, but is yet to receive the letters of award (LoA). PNC Infratech is an infrastructure construction, development and management company, with expertise in execution of major infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, flyovers, airport runways, power transmission lines, development of industrial areas and other infrastructure activities. The company has executed/ is executing projects across various states in India including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. PNC has till date executed 50 major infrastructure projects and is currently working on 19 projects on EPC basis.
