Orient Cement appoints Additional Director
Orient Cement has appointed IYR Krishna Rao as its Additional Director in the category of the Independent Director for a period of five years, the company said. His appointment had come into effect on May 5 but is subject to approval of shareholders at the upcoming annual meeting. Rao previously held the position of Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh from 2014-2016. He had also held posts of Chief Commissioner of Land Administration from 2011-2013 and Executive Director, TTD from 2009-2011.
