NEMO Lighting designed light for Parliament of Chandigarh and associates with P3 Architectural Solutions for exclusive distribution in India
NEMO, the Italian Lighting Design firm has partnered with P3 Architectural Solutions for exclusive distribution of their products in India. Founded in Milan in 1993, NEMO represents, within the design lighting producers’ scenario, a benchmark name, going back to the roots of innovation that always inspired Italian design. One of the renowned designers of NEMO, LE CORBUSIER has designed the entire city of Chandigarh and for the Parliament of Chandigarh he has designed this special light called ‘Parliament’. Describing the product he stated, “Our eyes are made to see forms in light; light and shade reveal these forms; cubes, cones, spheres, cylinders or pyramids are the great primary forms which light reveals to advantage; the image of these is distinct and tangible within us without ambiguity. It is for this reason that these are beautiful forms, the most beautiful forms”. On this collaboration, Mr.Roopesh Gupta, Managing Director, P3 Architectural Solutions stated, “NEMO is One of the global leaders in lighting striving to constantly create innovative cutting edge design. Alongside with this wide range of products, Nemo edits the Masters collection, a unique selection of icons, realized by the designers that have provided a fundamental contribution to the creation of the contemporary design: Le Corbusier, VicoMagistretti, Franco Albini, Charlotte Perriand and KazuhideTakahama.
