NBCC secures Rs. 131 crore orders in July

National Buildings Construction Corp (NBCC) has secured a total business of about Rs 131 crore in July. The company had secured a total business of about Rs 630 crore in June this year.

In a BSE filing today, the company said, “NBCC has secured the total business of Rs 131 cr (approx.) in the month of July."

The state owned construction company is also planning to take up projects to redevelop old government colonies in Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra, Shahjahanpur, etc, in Uttar Pradesh, according to another report.

NBCC at present is redeveloping colonies in Sarojini Nagar, Netaji Nagar, Nauroji Nagar in New Delhi under the general pool residential accommodation (GPRA). It is also developing a similar Rs 5,298-crore GPRA project in East Kidwai Nagar, with the project scheduled to be completed by December 2018.

The company is also in the process to develop a 240-acre greenfield city with smart city features at Ghitorni in the national capital, with an estimated to cost over Rs 15,000 crore, in association with the Central Public Works Department (CPWD).
