Livspace earmarks Rs 25 crore investment

Online home décor and designing platform LivSpace is the latest among the big boys of the ecommerce to jump onto the omni-channel bandwagon after its five-year online stint. It is looking at establishing 25 experience centres and apartments over the next 12-18 months. “We are earmarking a sum of Rs 25 crore towards building the experience centres and will go up as needed depending upon the growth requirements,” Anuj Srivastava, founder of LivSpace, told. With their first experience centre having been launched in 2015, the Bessemer Ventures-backed company, which has been testing offline waters for over 18 months, is looking to establish four flagship stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Smaller format stores and experience apartments would also be set up in these cities.
